Our fourth annual “Show Your Smalls” fine art show will expand into December this year for an almost 2 month event! Our opening reception is Thursday, October 27th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Grant’s Frames in Square One, 8007 So. Sheridan in Tulsa.
This show is open to all Green Country Watercolor Society Members in good standing. All works will be primarily aqueous medium on surfaces designed to support water media. Frame size is limited to 256 sq inches (16”X16”)and image size must be no larger than 100 sq inches (10” X 10”). All paintings are available for sale during the exhibit.

The 2021 Show Your Smalls, Exhibit at Grant’s Frames is back on. Paintings for the Show Your Smalls can be dropped off at Grant’s Frames on Tuesday, Oct. 19th, 2021 between 11:00 am to noon. If your still interested, please contact Teresa Herndon.

Art In April At The Hive, 2018
GUIDELINES:
- Art in April, is open to GCWS members in good standing: membership fee is $35
- Art work will be primarily aqueous medium on surface specifically designed to supportwater media. Refer to GCWS “Exhibit Information” updated January, 2012.
- Water media collage, if used, should represent no more than 25 percent of the piece.No varnish should be used.
- Work will be original–not based on photos or images other than the artist’s own andnot done under instruction.
- A maximum of five paintings may be entered in the show.
- Sales for the event will be handled by the Chamber. The Chamber will handle record-keeping, and cut a check (less commission) to the artists for any sales made after theclose of the exhibit
- A commission of 30 percent will be charged by The Hive for any sales.Artists will be responsible for reporting sales for income tax purposes.
- Paintings sold will be paid for at time of sale, but will remain in the exhibit until it closes.Exceptions can be made for out-of-area sales. If this should occur, the Chamber will contact the artist, who can replace the sold painting (Exhibit standards apply).
PRESENTATION AND CONDITIONS:
- Image size may be no smaller than 10” in any direction.
- Attach entry tag to the back upper left hand corner.
- GCWS reserves the right to reject any painting.
- Frame size may be no larger than 48” x 48”.
- Large paintings are encouraged due to the immense space in the gallery.
- Paintings may have single or double mats. The upper mat must be white or off white,and the lower mat may be any color as long as it does not exceed 1/4 inch visible width.GALLERY STANDARDS:
- Paintings must be presentable: all works must be clean on the surface and between the glass or plexi-glass and the painting. All dust and fingerprints are to be removed. Frames are to be sturdy, scratch and dent free, clean, and have tight corners.
- Wire: picture wire only, placed one fifth of the way down, pulled tight, looped through hangers.
- Frames: Metal frame backing: foam-core or clean mat board (No cardboard). Wood frames must have full dust covers.
RECEPTION: Thursday, April 12th 6-8 pm

Show Your Smalls – November, 2016
Green Country Watercolor Society will have an exhibit, Show Your Smalls, at Your Design, 211 S. Main Street in Broken Arrow in November, 2016. Guidelines for entries in this show are below:
- The “Show Your Smalls” Exhibit is open to GCWS members in good standing: membership is $35.
- Works entered should follow the GCWS Exhibit Information updated Jan. 2012.
- Work will have been completed within the last two years.
- A maximum of four paintings may be entered in the show.
- All works entered in this show will be for sale. A commission of 10 percent will be made to Your Design for any sales made during the show.
Presentation and Conditions:
- Image size may be no larger than 10” in any direction.

- Mats may be any color for this exhibit.
- GCWS reserves the right to reject any paintings.

- Delivery: Tuesday, Nov. 1st, 2016 – Deliver paintings to Your Design 11am – Noon.
- Reception: Thurs. Nov. 10, 2016 – Artist Reception 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
- Pick Up: Tues. Nov. 29, 2016 – Pick up paintings 11:00 – 12:00
